Donald H Wong knows that a strong economy and a healthy, safe community are what residents deserve. He understands that to better promote these ideals, new businesses must be brought in to Massachusetts by offering incentives, while retaining businesses that are already here. He believes that by encouraging innovation opportunities, we can create more jobs, which will result in a safer and more vibrant community.
Before becoming a politician, Donald always supported public works and safety. He helped to curb crime in the community and started a grassroots anti-drug organization. He has negotiated for a police substation at the local mall and raised money to donate a police cruiser for the town. With continued work and dedication, Donald will keep firehouses open and strive to purchase defibrillators for the department.
Donald knows the value of investing in education. Some communities are struggling to enjoy parts of the curriculum that are no longer funded, such as music, art, and physical education. He is a founding member of the Saugus Business Partnership and has been instrumental in assisting the organization to retain funds to keep these school programs, including an after-school program, active and in session.
Donald Wong envisions a world powered by clean energy through wind and other means of power. He understands the importance of the power sources already in place. Donald knows that a clean environment is more than just clean and green energy - it extends to the water in our homes, so he plans to create successful solutions for our water problems.
Donald Wong knows that many of our elderly relatives have been negatively affected by the lack of funding for our elder care. He wants to help the increased number of seniors live off of the programs which were developed to support them in their retirement.
